The Urban Jungle

2019–2024 | A precursor to Convergence

Cities aren’t separate from nature—they are nature. Beneath the concrete and routine, something wilder still moves. The Urban Jungle follows the presence of animals in the city—sometimes graceful, sometimes instinctive, sometimes strange.

At first, the images seem familiar. But the longer you look, the more the boundaries begin to shift. The city becomes a place of quiet tension, where symbols flicker and new myths begin to take shape.

Shot over five years, this series marked the beginning of a deeper shift in my work—toward ambiguity, surreal moments, and the hidden patterns we move through without noticing.
